In addition, we are required to include your USI in the data we submit to NCVER. ENROLMENT AND TRAINING AGREEMENT

Thank you for your booking. We encourage you to read our student handbook which is found under the student info tab as it outlines your rights and responsibilities. Please ask for a hard copy if you cannot access the online document. We encourage you to seek clarification on any issues which are important to you and familiarise yourself with the student handbook prior to enrolling in training.

Before you Begin

As a registered Training Organisation, Safe First Training must operate within the standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015. The following information summarises our commitment and detailed policies are available from our office or from our personnel. Our student handbook sets out our rights and responsibilities under this training agreement. It also explains in detail our commitment to you and your obligations under our training agreement. Areas Included are legislative requirements, health and safety, recognition of prior learning, literacy and numeracy assistance, client support, appeals and processes and conduct expectations.

Registration may be cancelled up to 10 working days prior to commencement of course with students either transferring to another course or receiving a full refund less a $50 admin fee.

Registration cancelled or transferred less than 10 working days but over 5 working days prior to commencement will incur a 20% cancellation/transfer fee.

If no cancelation is made or cancelation is made less than 5 working days prior to commencement, no refund will be issued unless participant can provide a medical certificate or show extreme personal hardship. Please note transfer is not available within 5 working days of the course. No refund is given to group company bookings.

Another student may be substituted at any time prior to course commencement date should the nominated person be unable to attend. Notification of such changes is imperative and a $50 admin fee may apply.

Safe First Training reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course to an alternative date. All registered participants affected by such change will receive a full refund or be offered to transfer to the next available course.

If you fail to attend, no refund will be given.

Any training outside The Perth Metro or South West District of Western Australia- Once an Enrolment and training agreement has been received by Safe First Training; any cancelation may incur a 50% cancelation fee (Travel and venue charges). Another person may be substituted for the previous candidate to avoid cancelation fee.

Payment must be made before course commencement date

STUDENTS AGREEMENT AND DECLARATION

I declare to the best of my knowledge that the information in this application and the document supporting my application is correct and complete.
I agree to pay all fees required on or by the due date as per the agreement Safe First Training may cancel any course prior to commencement and I will be refunded.
Refunds are in line with the refund procedure outlined in the student handbook
I am entitled to a formal Statement of Attainment of any completed units
I understand I must provide a USI number to receive my Statement of Attainment.
I give Safe First Training permission to locate/Verify and find my USI on the portal if there is an issue with the number, I have given on the enrolment form.
I am responsible for notifying Safe First Training if I decide to cancel, defer or suspend the enrolment.
Photographic identification must be brought to course to confirm your identity
I understand this enrolment form and training agreement, and the availability of grievances and appeals process does not remove the ability and right to take action under Australian Consumer Protection Laws.
I may access my own student records, subject to privacy legislation.
I acknowledge that the withholding of, or provision of incorrect documentation relating to my application may result in cancelation of any offer or enrolment by Safe First Training.
